With its quiet meandering leafy paths, forested slopes and dappled glades, waterfalls, stunning vistas of canyons and hills, its unusual rock formations and invigorating climate, Mahabaleshwar is the perfect retreat from the rush of modern life.

The Club, Mahabaleshwar is one of the last surviving bastions of Mahabaleshwar’s heritage and history. Its handsome red stone buildings, colourful flowerbeds, old trees and quaint memorabilia (such as the large bell near the dining room) evoke memories of a more genteel past. For over 130 years, the Club has been a home away from home for its many members.

Spread over more than 66 acres of garden, woodland, meadow and forest, including an unique golf course, the Club campus offers 35 residential rooms and in-house dining facilities to its Members and their guests. Extensive recreational facilities are on offered: billiards, pool, carom, chess, table tennis and the nightly housie sessions. Outdoor sports include tennis and croquet, apart from golf. The tariff includes full board.

Within its carefully preserved heritage and historic buildings, The Club offers its Members gentle and gracious blend of contemporary comforts and old–world hospitality, a seamless meld of tradition and modernity.

For the convenience of our Member’s, we have created an on-line calendar for the year. It shows:  Seasons, Special Events & Long Weekends, to help plan your visits to The Club in good time!

Please note that Season & Long Weekend Dates in the Calendar are only indicative and subject to change without prior notice.

Status of Room Availability

For the convenience of our Members we will introduce a chart showing, at a glance, the balance number of rooms available after firm and tentative bookings.

This chart will be updated each day at around 12 noon.

(Free of Charge) Internet & WI-FI

The Club’s secure Wi-Fi network now covers all residential rooms & the Front Lawn. Coverage is also being expanded to other areas. Members should contact the Club office for net-work access codes. An Internet-enabled PC is also available in the Library.

N.B. Connectivity in M’war is erratic. Please check with the Club Office for connectivity status before arrival.

Use of the Club’s office computers by members is strictly prohibited.
